Lydia Borland brings to The Livingston Group more than 20 years of public and private sector experience in international business development and government relations.
Throughout her career, Ms. Borland has successfully created and managed campaigns to secure financial assistance and favorable legislation for US and non-US clients. She currently facilitates international business development for US companies, especially in Turkey and Azerbaijan, and for non-US companies in the US. Additionally, Ms. Borland has significant experience in trade promotion and market development, helping businesses identify and partner with international companies.
Ms. Borland served as the Washington representative of the Turkish-U.S Business Council, an association of 100 Turkish companies seeking to improve bilateral trade and industrial cooperation between Turkey and the US. She also served as Deputy Executive Director of the US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Borland is fluent in Spanish, Turkish, Azerbaijani, Italian and French.
