Jason Chung joined The Livingston Group from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), an agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a congressional liaison at CBP, he was responsible for a portfolio that included border security initiatives, immigration reform policy, appropriations, and cargo security programs.

Prior to his employment with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Mr. Chung served in the administration of Governor Robert L. Ehrlich (R-MD). He also served in a variety of policy and administrative capacities in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1999 to 2004. He worked on policy issues governing homeland security, defense, foreign affairs, and trade for then-Government Reform Committee Chairman Thomas M. Davis, III (R-VA).

Mr. Chung served on the subcommittee staff of Congressman Christopher Shays (R-CT), working on communications and on oversight issues regarding combating terrorism and homeland defense. He remains politically active and has assisted candidates seeking elective office on the local, state and federal levels. Mr. Chung is a graduate of Trinity College in Connecticut.
