Christine J. Vineis is a consultant with The Livingston Group and has thirty years of public affairs experience in Washington, New York and Columbus. She is an expert in state and federal processes, leveraging creative and practical strategies designed to maximize client goals. Vineis has successfully assisted in obtaining over $1.6 billion in public infrastructure funding for her clients.

Her legislative education began in Congress as a transportation staffer for the ranking Republican on the House Commerce Committee. Later, Ms. Vineis represented one of the nation's top railroads before Congress and the executive branch. She also founded the international, 50-plus chapter Women's Transportation Seminar. She is known throughout the industry as the go-to consultant when public entities are chasing limited federal/state dollars.

Ms. Vineis has experiences representing transit providers, transit industry vendors, commuter rail agencies, Class I railroads, short lines, cities, and national transportation architecture and engineering firms. She was a key advisor on the only short line railroad project to win TIGER I funding and, most recently, her client won a Sustainable Communities grant. She served on a team helping clients secured over $180 million in Railroad Rehabilitation and Improvement Financing (RRIF) dollars since the RRIF program's passage in the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA-21). Ms. Vineis also has written innovative financing plans for both leading transportation providers and the City of Seattle, Washington.

Ms. Vineis is an advisor to the Coalition for America's Gateways and Corridors, and has represented some of the nation's leading freight projects – The Alaskan Way Viaduct in Seattle and the multi-state Heartland Corridor – which were both successfully listed as Projects of National and Regional Significance in the 2005 SAFETEA-LU bill.

Ms. Vineis has a bachelor of arts from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts and a masters in public affairs from the George Washington University.
