George P. Sigalos joined The Livingston Group with significant experience in both the private and public sector. A trained attorney and communications professional, Mr. Sigalos now serves as a consultant and advisor in Washington, DC.

Mr. Sigalos previously served in a government liaison capacity for a Fortune 100 US Corporation. Mr. Sigalos maintained an active rapport with the US Congress and the Executive Branch. He also served as the primary liaison to think-tanks, associations, universities and other non-governmental institutions for related issues.

Mr. Sigalos is the former Counsel to the President and Director of Public Affairs for the former federal contractor organization, Contract Services Association of America of Washington, DC, which represented more than 500 companies doing business in the US federal marketplace.

Prior to that, he served as Counsel and Director of Communications for the Vice-Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee in the US House of Representatives. There, he worked in a senior caucus capacity and participated in numerous leadership meetings of the US Congress. His previous federal experience includes serving as an extern law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and in press affairs for three members of the Presidential Cabinet.

Mr. Sigalos earned a Bachelor of Arts from American University in Washington, DC, and a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. He also served on the Moot Court Constitutional Law Appellate Team at Suffolk Law School and participated in the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.

Among his many accomplishments, he is the recipient of the Albert Schweitzer Corporate Citizen Award from Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) of Los Angeles, CA, and was chosen as a Notable Alum by American University’s AMERICAN magazine. He has participated on numerous board and entities, has spoken at many national and international forums, holds a considerable published portfolio, and has appeared on numerous national and international broadcast media.
